Freezer Fillers for Winter Lockdown
From Sunday roast joints to mid-week meals, we’ve got everything you need to stay eating well this winter.
We knew that all those early mornings trekking to the markets would eventually pay off, and it did when none other than Sir Terry Wogan visited our pitch at Wells Market.
Sir Terry was filming for his new TV show, Terry and Mason’s Great Food Trip, in which Terry and London cabbie, Mason McQueen travel around the UK in Mason’s black cab to discover local culinary delights. Ivan was very happy to share our Beef and Guinness sausages and Sir Terry Wogan was very happy to indulge.
You can still catch the show on BBC iPlayer. Have a gander at the Wells episode to see Ivan mixing with the famous ones.
Of course, the real reason that we go to the local markets is to meet you. The Sausage Shed stall can be found at the Nailsea Farmers Market, every third Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm in Crown Glass Place and at the Wells Market, every Wednesday from 9 am -2.30 pm. Come along and find us to sample some new sausage flavours and have a chat.

Wells is home to one of the oldest clocks in the world, dating back to 1319, and boasting a
pre-medieval face with the Copernican universe illustrated.
